Having previously worked as a surgeon, leading teams in high-pressure environments has taught me the importance of utilising empathic communication and building rapport to facilitate effective teamwork. I then navigated a career change into medical malpractice. I now lead the UK and International clinical risk and patient safety services for the WTW Global Healthcare Team.  Throughout my career, I have become well accustomed to the juggling act of working full-time while lone parenting as a military spouse. I strongly believe in supporting others to achieve their own professional and personal balance. My experiences have taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of a supportive network.
