We have released a major new report on people’s perceptions of private healthcare, Going Private 2023. The report is based on both quantitative and qualitative research we carried out with Public First – including national survey and targeted focus groups.

The findings show that demand for the sector continues to be driven by NHS challenges, although the quality of care in the private sector is a big positive. It also highlights positive views among the public, and particularly among younger people who are much more supportive and open to the idea of using private healthcare.
