IHPN CEO wins “Outstanding Contribution” at industry awards

Independent Healthcare Providers Network (IHPN) Chief Executive, David Hare, has been awarded for his “Outstanding Contribution” at this year’s prestigious Laing Buisson Awards held in November.

Awarded to those who have gone above and beyond in their work to deliver excellence and innovation in the independent healthcare sector, David was honoured “for his overwhelmingly positive influence in the health and social care sector”. This is in recognition of his hard work in supporting IHPN members to play their full part in the covid19 response, the development of a coordinated sector-wide quality and safety programme as well as the wider healthcare recovery – ensuring as many NHS and privately funded patients can benefit from the high quality care the sector delivers.

David has been CEO of IHPN since 2014, and in that time has more than quadrupled the membership, as well as extending the network’s remit to cover privately funded care across all four nations of the UK.

David Hare, Chief Executive of the Independent Healthcare Providers Network, said:

“I am delighted to have received this award from Laing Buisson which is a huge honour not just for me but the whole IHPN team who have worked so hard over the last few years to support our members. It remains a real privilege to represent such a fantastic sector and I look forward to continuing IHPN’s work in ensuring our members can deliver the best possible care for millions of patients every year.”
