I have had an eclectic career, ranging from high street banking, managing large operational and back-office processing centres, programme management (particularly with turnaround projects), as well as policy and strategy in Local Government – all leading to my current position of Director of Policy at IHPN – the trade association for independent healthcare providers.

Throughout my career I have built up a set of essential skills to enable me to do my job well and I am keen to share my experiences and support other women on their career journey, including around effective relationship building and stakeholder management; how to manage and develop people and teams successfully; finding pragmatic solutions to problems and taking others with you; and simple yet effective project management.
