IHPN, the membership body for independent healthcare providers across the UK, has appointed Danielle Henry as its new Director of Policy.
Danielle joined the network in 2019 and is currently Assistant Director of Policy and Programmes, leading on IHPN’s diagnostics, primary and community healthcare policy, as well as our work to support members in achieving Net Zero. In 2022, Danielle also spearheaded the sector’s efforts to support the Ukraine, working with members and the Ukrainian Embassy enabling the donation of over one million medical supplies to the country.
Prior to joining IHPN, Danielle worked in local government policy for 10 years, including with the Local Government Information Unit, and began her career in project delivery in the private sector, running large operational and customer services areas.
Danielle will begin her role in February 2025, following the departure of David Furness to the Shelford Group, and will lead the policy team in an exciting time for IHPN as it seeks to support its members meet the growing needs of NHS and private patients – working to further embed the independent sector healthcare into the fabric of service delivery and policy development at all levels, and continue to build influential relationships with key players in the health system and across business.
