Programme
To mark IHPN’s 10th annual summit, this year’s event will focus on the Future of Independent Healthcare and what the next decade will look like for independent sector providers.
To align with the launch of IHPN’s Future of Health report, our plenary session “Healthcare in 2034 – what does the next 10yrs hold?” will take a broad look at what the next ten years look like for healthcare. This includes how healthcare providers can meet the growing and diverse needs of patients, what clinical innovation will really make a difference, and how the NHS will fare in the coming decade.
As well as hearing from our keynote speakers, delegates will have the opportunity to attend one of our breakout sessions:
1. What does the next decade hold for the independent sector’s role in the NHS?
This session will look at the independent sector’s current relationship with the NHS and how the two sectors can work better together to meet the growing needs of patients over the next decade.
2. Changing how we “Go Private” – how the public are finding new ways to access private healthcare
Looking at the findings of our 2024 Going Private report, this session will explore the changing ways people are using private healthcare, including rising demand from young people, “mixing & matching” NHS and private healthcare, and the growth of private GP and mental health services.
3. Healthy worker, healthy employer – the increasing role of workplace healthcare
This session will look at the increasingly prominent role of employers in the healthcare landscape, including the growing occupational health market, rising demand for workplace PMI and what other initiatives firms can put in place to ensure a healthy and productive workforce
